- Lead, manage, and develop a team of 2–3 sales representatives.
- Develop and execute sales plans aligned with the department’s commercial strategy and agreed sales and profitability targets.
- Set team targets, monitor performance, and provide coaching to improve sales effectiveness.
- Expand market coverage by developing distribution channels and identifying new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agricultural distributors, dealers, and customers.
- Personally generate, negotiate, and close selected sales opportunities and high-value deals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support commercial planning and product positioning.
- Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports, highlighting opportunities and corrective actions.
- Guide the team in communicating product benefits and supporting field demonstrations.
- Conduct field visits to support the sales team, strengthen customer relationships, and assess market opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- 7–10+ years of relevant experience in agrochemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, or agricultural inputs.
- At least 3 years of experience in a sales management or supervisory role.
- Proven experience managing sales teams and achieving sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the Egyptian agricultural market and its distribution channels.
- Experience working with agricultural distributors and dealers.
- Good technical knowledge of fertilizers, plant nutrition, pesticides, crop protection programs, and major crops in Egypt.
- Experience in both fertilizers and crop protection products is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, business development, sales planning, forecasting, and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to balance team leadership with personally managing selected sales opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in Arabic; English communication and correspondence skills are an advantage but are not mandatory.
- Willingness to undertake field visits.
- An MBA or relevant business qualification is an advantage.
