This policy explains what Tawzef does with your personal data when you use this website, whether you are looking for work or looking to hire.
Who is responsible
Tawzef for HR Services, Al Serag Mall, Tower 3, entrance 5, 11th floor, Atya Al Sawahli Street off Makram Ebeid Street, Cairo 11762, Egypt. For anything in this policy, write to info@tawzef.com.
What we collect
Account details: your name, email address, phone number, country and city, and your password, which we store only as a hash.
If you sign in with Google, Facebook or LinkedIn: the name, email address and profile picture that provider passes to us. Your password never reaches us.
Your professional information: your CV, work history, education, skills, and any LinkedIn or portfolio link you add.
Applications: the jobs you apply to and what you send with each application.
Messages: what you write to us through the contact form or the chat window.
Technical information: your IP address, device and browser, and the pages you open. What we do with this depends on the cookie choice you make.
Why we use it, and on what basis
To run your account and let you apply for jobs. This is how we perform the service you asked us for.
To put your application in front of the employer concerned. This is the purpose you submitted it for.
To reply when you contact us, and to keep a record of what was said. We have a legitimate interest in running a recruitment business properly.
To keep the site working and secure, and to stop fraud and abuse. Legitimate interest again.
To send you our newsletter, if you subscribed to it. Every email carries an unsubscribe link and we act on it straight away.
To measure how the site is used and how our advertising performs, but only if you allow it in the cookie notice. This is consent, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies, and nothing beyond what is strictly necessary runs until you say so. Our Cookie Policy lists every one of them, who sets it and how long it lasts, and the same page is where you change or withdraw your choice.
Who else sees your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the following, and only for the purposes above:
Employers and clients, when you apply for one of their roles, or when you ask us to put you forward.
Zoho, which provides the systems we use to manage candidates, client relationships and the chat window on this site.
Amazon Web Services, which stores the files you upload and sends our emails.
Cloudflare, which delivers and protects this website.
Google and OpenAI, for the analytics and advertising described in the Cookie Policy, and only if you allowed them.
Professional advisers or authorities, where the law requires it.
Where your data goes
Some of these companies are outside Egypt, including in the United States and the European Union. Where we transfer personal data outside Egypt we do so under the agreements those providers offer for international transfers, and we share only what the purpose requires.
How long we keep it
Your account and professional information: for as long as your account is open. Delete your account and we remove it, except where we must keep something by law.
Applications: for up to two years after you apply, so employers can reconsider you for similar roles.
Messages you send us: for up to two years.
Records of your cookie choice: for three years, because we have to be able to show what you agreed to and when.
Analytics and advertising data: for the periods stated in the Cookie Policy.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to limit what we do with it, or to object to it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, and doing so does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. You can also ask us to send your data to another organisation.
Write to info@tawzef.com and we will answer within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your national data protection authority, or in Egypt to the Personal Data Protection Centre.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your data we will update this page, and where the change needs your agreement we will ask you again.
