- Handle customer complaints and returned parts, including containment actions, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and communicate problem-solving documentation with customers, such as 8D reports, problem-solving sheets, and presentations.
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions on the production floor and ensure implementation effectiveness.
- Track customer issues and external PPM performance, ensuring alignment with customer reports.
- Participate in cross-functional analysis of customer returns, including warranty and 0-km issues.
- Coordinate and guide Quality Controllers and Lab Technicians within the assigned area.
- Ensure proper control of non-conforming products and follow-up of on-hold materials.
- Participate in daily QRQC meetings with Production and support the analysis of quality issues.
- Support validation and release of production areas, equipment, products, and processes.
- Follow up on deviation approvals for any process not aligned with approved standards.
- Maintain quality-control activities in line with customer requirements and internal procedures.
- Update and maintain control plans, customer technical documents, drawings, and technical changes.
- Participate in FMEA reviews and process/product quality planning for new projects.
- Monitor daily laboratory results and promptly communicate any quality risks to Production and Process teams.
- Follow up on laboratory equipment calibration and ensure final-product validation based on lab results.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and customer-return quality reports.
- Develop and monitor quality KPIs, including internal defect rate, customer PPM, and corrective-action status.
- Support preparation for internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- From 0 to 3 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Production, or a related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Good knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies.
- Very good command of spoken and written English.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings is preferred.
