-Negotiate rates with worldwide agents, carriers, and shipping lines.
-Prepare quotations and follow up with customers to meet shipping requirements and optimize costs.
-Secure vessel space and manage shipment bookings.
-Coordinate with agents, shipping lines, trucking providers, and customs clearance teams.
-Track shipments from loading to final delivery and provide regular status updates.
-Prepare, review, and manage shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BLs), invoices, and shipment records.
-Monitor shipment arrivals and communicate arrival notices to customers.
-Maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customers.
-Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.
-Verify carrier invoices and coordinate payment requests with the finance department.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
-1–3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Shipping Lines (is a must)
-Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs clearance, and trade compliance.
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
-Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
-Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
