Lead and manage the document-control function for the project.
Establish and enforce document-control procedures, workflows, naming conventions, and distribution matrices.
Manage the registration, review, issuance, tracking, revision, and archival of project documents.
Ensure timely circulation of drawings, technical submittals, correspondence, reports, and transmittals.
Administer and maintain the project EDMS, including user access, document workflows, and audit trails.
Monitor document turnaround times and follow up on overdue reviews and responses.
Produce document-control status reports, logs, KPIs, and management dashboards.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, engineers, and project teams to ensure document completeness and compliance.
Manage and develop the document-control team and ensure consistent quality across all project packages.
Maintain accurate project records for handover, audits, claims support, and closeout.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Management, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of document-control experience, including experience leading document-control teams on major projects.
Proven experience within infrastructure, construction, PMC, consultant, or client-side environments.
Strong knowledge of EDMS platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, or equivalent systems.
Strong understanding of document-control procedures, transmittals, revision control, correspondence tracking, and records retention.
Experience managing high-volume technical documents across multiple contractors and packages.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 document-control requirements is preferred.
Strong leadership, coordination, reporting, and attention-to-detail skills.
