- Promote synthetic fibre products to relevant parties within the construction market, including applicators, contractors, consultants, specifiers, developers, traders, and concrete producers.
- Develop and execute sales and business development activities to grow market share in Egypt.
- Identify new project opportunities in public and private sector construction projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering consultants, designers, contractors, applicators, concrete producers, and other decision-makers.
- Present technical product advantages and applications to clients and project stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and product guidance to customers during the sales process.
- Follow up on leads, project pipelines, proposals, client meetings, and sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper communication of customer requirements and market feedback.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, and customer needs within the construction materials and construction chemicals sectors.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and business development objectives.
- Submit weekly activity reports to management covering visits, opportunities, market updates, and sales progress.
- Travel frequently across Egypt to visit clients, projects, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Support future regional business development activities in the Middle East when required.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of project-based technical sales and business development experience within building materials, concrete, or construction chemicals markets.
- An engineering degree is required; Civil Engineering is highly preferred.
- Strong experience in the Egyptian construction market is required.
- Experience selling building materials or construction chemicals is highly preferred.
- Previous Middle East market experience is a plus.
- Steel fibre and/or synthetic fibre sales experience is a strong plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong network with engineering consultants, designers, contractors, applicators, concrete producers, and public/private project stakeholders.
- Strong business development, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in the field and manage client visits and sales activities effectively
