Manage all commercial and cost management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Review and certify contractor payment applications (IPCs) and ensure accurate valuation of completed works.
Monitor project budgets, cost control measures, and financial performance against approved targets.
Evaluate variations, change orders, and their commercial impact on project costs and schedules.
Support commercial claims management and provide contractual and cost-related analysis.
Review BOQs, measurements, and cost breakdown structures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Prepare commercial reports, cost forecasts, and financial performance updates for project stakeholders.
Coordinate closely with contracts, construction, and project management teams to ensure commercial alignment.
Support the administration and application of FIDIC contracts and commercial procedures.
Contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale, multi-package, and fast-track projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management (mandatory).
Degree in Quantity Surveying or Cost Engineering is preferred.
10–15+ years of relevant experience in commercial engineering, quantity surveying, or cost management.
Strong experience within PMC, consultancy, or Tier 1 contractor environments.
Proven expertise in cost control, budgeting, and cost forecasting.
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, measurement, and cost breakdown structures.
Experience reviewing and certifying contractor payment applications (IPCs).
Hands-on experience managing variations, change management, and cost impact assessments.
Experience supporting commercial claims and contract administration activities.
Practical knowledge and application of FIDIC contracts.
Experience working on large-scale, multi-package, or mega projects.
Strong reporting, analytical, and cross-functional coordination skills.
FIDIC Training, PMP Certification, Primavera P6, and Cost Control/Estimation certifications are preferred
