Job Description

The Site Technical Manager (Architecture) is responsible for overseeing all architectural technical activities during project execution. The role ensures that architectural works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project schedules, and regulatory requirements. The Technical Manager acts as the primary technical authority on site, coordinating between consultants, contractors, design teams, and project management to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all architectural technical activities on site.
Review and approve architectural shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions.
Ensure construction complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to resolve technical conflicts.
Provide technical guidance to site engineers and contractors.
Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and technical problem-solving.
Monitor construction quality and ensure adherence to project specifications.
Review RFIs, technical queries, and proposed design modifications.
Support project planning while ensuring technical compliance.
Coordinate inspections and resolve site-related technical issues.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and project standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
10–15 years of experience in architectural construction and site execution.
Minimum 5 years in a managerial or technical leadership role.
Strong experience in high-rise, residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
Excellent knowledge of architectural detailing, construction methods, and finishing works.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code and international construction standards is preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
