Review mechanical designs (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting) for compliance with codes and project requirements
Manage and respond to RFIs , technical queries, and design clarifications
Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical teams to resolve clashes and design gaps
Support planning and cost teams with quantities, BOQs, and technical input
Liaise with consultants and contractors to ensure smooth technical alignment
Monitor drawing revisions, approvals, and document control processes
Participate in coordination meetings and track technical risks/issues
Ensure constructability and maintainability of all mechanical systems
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
8+ years of experience in construction or real estate development, with a strong focus on technical office roles.
Proven expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting design review and coordination.
Strong experience in reviewing and approving shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs.
High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Experience in project coordination with different disciplines to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on value engineering and cost optimization.
