- Supervising the export/import shipment logistics operations.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.Ensuring thatarranging shipping services and establishing relationships with clients.
- Ensuring that shipment inventory is ready to be shipped.
- Overseeing warehouse management of commercial shipments with regard to personnel and supplies to ensure proper handling of allincoming and outgoing shipments in accordance with established procedures.Scheduling activities in specific facilities according to established procedures, and also inputting records into the computer system every day
- Maintaining current knowledge of relevant regulations applicable to transportation operations, which can be helpful in developing policies for improvement or for avoiding problems with shipments
- Ensuring compliance by adhering to all regulations governing the transportation of goods and maintaining compliance with company policies andmaintaining current knowledge of all regulations and laws which apply to the transportation industryUsing experience and professional judgment to determine methods for improving logistics procedures,processesand products for the betterment of the company’s operations
- Implementing logistics strategiesby developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimize
- operations and improve efficiency.
- Developing training programs that promote improvements in logistics management functions, such as optimizing warehouse space utilization, formulating improved packaging programs, etc.
- Coaching, mentoring, or otherwise supervising staff engaged in freight operations on a day-to-day basis.Preparing all procedures related to Commercial &Logistics department as per the company standards.Analyzing performanceby utilizing analytics to monitor and measure performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure high performance atoptimal cost.
Requirements
- Years ofExperience:15-20
Excellent written and verbal communication negotiating skills - Maintain the regular replenishment schedule
- BA or BS degree in logistics, business, or related field Over 3 years of management experience in logistics withinEgypt
- Experience in managing or leadingateam is preferred.
