• Job Summary
The Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling construction chemical products to contractors, consultants, developers, and industrial factories. The role combines technical expertise with sales skills to identify business opportunities, provide technical solutions, and achieve sales targets while maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers.
• Conduct regular visits to contractors, consultants, project owners.
• Prepare and submit commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities.
Technical Support
• Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
• Recommend suitable construction chemical solutions based on project requirements.
• Conduct site visits to support product application and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate with technical and laboratory teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Deliver product training sessions to customers and applicators.
Market Intelligence
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
• Identify upcoming projects and track project opportunities from specification to execution.
• Gather customer feedback and communicate market requirements to management.
Reporting
• Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
• Monitor receivables and support collection activities.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of sales experience in construction chemicals, epoxy and PU floorings, repair mortars, sealants, and protective coatings
• Strong understanding of construction practices and project specifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
