- Set seasonal buying budgets (OTB) based on sales forecast, stock-on-hand, and planned growth.
- Break OTB down by department/category and brief the Design team on range width/depth.
- Set target costs for the Sourcing team based on target margins from the Head of Buying.
- Master distribution of products upon shipment arrival (by store/channel).
- Monitor stock levels per location, anticipate trends, and execute replenishments/transfers.
- Execute monthly price updates and promotional mechanics for commercial events.
- Lead season-end actions (markdowns, consolidations, returns to vendor).
- Gather customer feedback from Store Ops to inform future range building.
Requirements
- 3–5 years in retail merchandising or allocation
- Mandatory experience in OTB planning
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficient in inventory management systems
