Job Description

-Manage and coordinate regulatory approvals, permits, and authority requirements for infrastructure projects.
-Liaise with government authorities and relevant regulatory bodies to secure required approvals and permits.
-Manage permitting activities related to roads, utilities, developments, and other infrastructure works.
-Review project documents and submissions to ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and authority requirements.
-Prepare, submit, track, and follow up on permit applications throughout the approval process.
-Maintain permitting schedules and monitor approval timelines to minimize project delays.
-Manage multiple permits and regulatory submissions simultaneously across different project packages.
-Identify permitting issues, coordinate with authorities, and support the resolution of approval-related delays.
-Maintain accurate permitting records, trackers, correspondence, and regulatory documentation.
-Prepare regular permitting status reports for project management and client teams.
-Coordinate with internal project teams, consultants, contractors, and external authorities.

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related discipline.
-10–12+ years of relevant experience, with strong exposure to permitting and regulatory processes.
-Strong experience within PMC/consultancy environments is preferred.
-Proven experience handling infrastructure permits and authority approvals, particularly for roads, utilities, and development projects.
-Strong understanding of local regulations, codes, permitting procedures, and regulatory compliance.
-Demonstrated experience coordinating directly with government authorities.
-Ability to manage multiple permits, submissions, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
-Strong documentation, reporting, follow-up, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Law, or Project Management is preferred.
-Regulatory, permitting, or planning certifications are preferred.
-PMP and legal/compliance training are advantages.
