* Review mechanical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.
* Perform quantity take-offs for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.
* Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and material quantities.
* Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare comparison sheets.
* Review mechanical subcontractors’ interim payment applications.
* Prepare and assess variation orders, additional works, and claims.
* Coordinate with technical office, procurement, planning, and site teams.
* Monitor project quantities and costs against the approved budget.
* Prepare periodic cost and quantity reports.
* Maintain accurate records of measurements, variations, and payments.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* 3–5 years of relevant quantity surveying experience.
* Previous experience within contracting companies is required.
* Experience working on GCC projects is required.
* Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimation, and payment certificates.
* Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quantity take-off tools.
* Good command of English.
* Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
