* Manage daily borosilicate/Pyrex glass manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
* Oversee all manufacturing stages, production lines, and specialized glass production machinery.
* Develop and implement production plans in coordination with planning, maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams.
* Monitor production output, equipment efficiency, material consumption, waste, and rejection rates.
* Optimize production processes to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and control manufacturing costs.
* Coordinate preventive maintenance and resolve production issues with the maintenance and technical teams.
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operating standards across the production floor.
* Lead shift supervisors and operators, manage rotational shift coverage, and identify training needs.
* Prepare production performance reports and report operational results and improvement priorities to the Plant Manager.
Requirements
* 8 min years of experience in borosilicate or Pyrex glass manufacturing.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
* Proven experience in production management and leading manufacturing teams.
* Strong technical knowledge of glass manufacturing processes, production lines, and specialized machinery.
* Demonstrated experience in process optimization, waste reduction, and production efficiency improvement.
* Strong production planning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
* Proven shop-floor leadership and experience managing shift supervisors and operators across rotational shifts.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing safety and quality requirements.
* Ability to monitor production KPIs and coordinate effectively with maintenance, quality, and planning teams.
