* Lead and manage the mechanical HVAC design team across ongoing and upcoming projects.
* Develop HVAC design concepts and determine mechanical space and equipment requirements.
* Prepare,review HVAC design drawings, calculations, equipment schedules, technical specifications,tender documents.
* Perform cooling load calculations, duct sizing, pipe sizing, pump sizing, equipment selection,static pressure calculations.
* Review HVAC shop drawings, material submittals, contractor proposals and technical bids.
* Coordinate HVAC systems with architectural, structural, electrical and other MEP disciplines.
* Attend coordination and technical meetings with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
* Provide technical solutions and exercise independent engineering judgement throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure designs comply with project specifications, approved procedures and applicable local, international standards.
* Prepare professional technical reports, design documentation and contractual deliverables.
* Monitor project progress and ensure assigned deliverables are completed within the required time and budget.
* Provide technical support during construction, installation, testing and commissioning stages.
* Lead, support and mentor mechanical engineers and junior team members.
* Contribute to value engineering and introduce digital solutions that improve design quality and efficiency.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously and present technical work during internal and external meetings
Requirements
* 12–18 years of experience in HVAC and building services design.
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience in MENA projects
* Strong experience in HVAC design calculations, drawings, specifications and equipment selection.
* Experience reviewing shop drawings, material submittals and technical documents.
* Knowledge of plumbing, firefighting and pumping systems.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP and Elite.
* Familiarity with international HVAC and fire-protection codes.
* Proven team leadership and multidisciplinary coordination experience.
* Excellent English communication and report writing skills.
