* Prepare and review mechanical shop drawings in accordance with approved designs and project specifications.
* Develop detailed drawings for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.
* Perform technical calculations and equipment selection when required.
* Coordinate mechanical drawings with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines.
* Review tender drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and contract documents.
* Identify design conflicts and prepare RFIs for consultant/client clarification.
* Prepare material and equipment submittals for approval.
* Incorporate consultant comments and issue updated drawing revisions.
* Provide technical support and clarification to site teams.
* Ensure drawings comply with relevant GCC standards and codes.
* Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* 3–5 years of relevant experience.
* Proven experience in preparing mechanical shop drawings.
* Previous experience within contracting companies is required.
* Experience working on GCC projects is required.
* Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit MEP experience is preferred.
* Good command of English.
* Strong technical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
