· Design and Estimation Engineer of fire protection systems, including fire sprinklers, fire detection & alarms, suppression systems, and more.
· Apply expertise in fire protection engineering principles to ensure compliance with codes (NFPA), standards, and Local regulations (SEC, HCIS SAF, SWCC).
· Utilize your specialized knowledge to estimate costs for fire protection system installations, upgrades, and retrofits.
· Analyze project requirements and specifications to accurately assess material, equipment, labor, and installation costs.
· Develop detailed and itemized cost estimates for client proposals and internal project planning.
· Manage the design and estimation phases of fire protection projects, from initial concept to final proposal.
· Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of fire protection systems and timely completion of milestones.
· Optimize fire protection designs for efficiency, reliability, and safety while considering the unique needs of each project.
· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of fire protection system designs, calculations, and cost estimates.
· Prepare technical reports and proposals that convey design rationale, cost breakdowns, and compliance with regulations.
· Conduct site visit / Site survey for Estimation of Fit out / project jobs.
· Knowledge of well-known brands such as Simplex / Notifier / Kidde is an added advantage for candidate.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire alarm / Detection, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically focused on fire Detection / protection system design and cost estimation. Or 5+ years of experience in MEP engineering & estimation.
· Proficiency in design software relevant to fire protection systems (e.g., AutoCAD, Hydraulic Calculations) and other industry tools.
