The Deputy Project Manager will support the Project Manager in coordinating and controlling the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. The position will follow up on multiple contractors and project packages, monitor progress, and support effective communication among consultants, contractors, authorities, and the client.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager in managing multiple infrastructure projects and work packages.
Coordinate day-to-day activities among consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal project teams.
Monitor project schedules, construction progress, risks, costs, and deliverables.
Follow up on contractors’ performance and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
Participate in reviewing technical submissions, progress reports, work plans, and project documentation.
Support the coordination of roads, utilities, drainage, and network works.
Assist in identifying project risks, delays, and interface issues and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor project budgets and support cost-control activities.
Support authority coordination, submissions, permits, and approvals.
Prepare and consolidate progress reports for the Project Manager, client, and senior management.
Participate in project meetings and follow up on decisions and outstanding action items.
Support compliance with contractual, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
Act on behalf of the Project Manager when required.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
PMP certification is preferred.
Knowledge of Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is preferred.
Risk Management certification is an advantage.
Minimum of 10–12 years of relevant experience.
Direct experience in infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, drainage, and networks.
Previous PMC or consultancy experience supporting client representation is required.
Experience supporting multiple contractors and construction packages.
Good understanding of infrastructure construction sequencing and multidisciplinary coordination.
Experience in schedule monitoring, cost tracking, risk management, and progress reporting.
Familiarity with authority requirements and approval processes.
Experience with large-scale or city-wide infrastructure projects is preferred.
Strong coordination, reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
