Job Description

- Develop and execute a people strategy aligned with business growth and operational efficiency
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board on workforce planning, organization design, and transformation
- Lead HR transformation toward data-driven decision-making and automation
- Design workforce models for terminal operations, logistics, and engineering functions
- Manage relationships with labor unions and government entities
- Drive a high-performance culture tied to operational KPIs (productivity, turnaround time, safety)
- Design competitive compensation structures
- Oversee HR shared services (payroll, personnel, employee services)
- Implement HRIS systems and digital HR processes
- Improve employee experience at scale
- Manage communication strategies for large workforce transitions

Requirements

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- Master’s degree (MBA or HR specialization) strongly preferred
Experience
-15+ years in HR, with at least:
- 5–7 years in senior leadership (HR Director / CHRO / VP HR)
- Experience in large workforce environments (1,500+ employees)
- Strong background in one or more of:
               Logistics / ports / shipping
               Heavy industry / manufacturing
               Infrastructure or transportation
Technical Expertise
-Deep knowledge of:
- Egyptian labor law & union frameworks
- Workforce planning in operational environments
- Compensation structures for blue-collar + technical roles
- Experience with HRIS and HR analytics
Leadership Competencies
- Strong stakeholder management (government, unions, board)
- Proven ability to lead large-scale transformation
- High emotional intelligence and negotiation skills
- Crisis management & conflict resolution capabilities
