Job Description

The Budget Manager is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and monitoring budgets, ensuring proper allocation of financial resources, controlling expenditures, and providing accurate financial reports to support management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Budget Planning & Preparation
* Lead the preparation of annual and periodic budgets in coordination with all departments, ensuring alignment with approved strategic plans and financial policies.
* Participate in financial planning and forecasting activities, including medium- and long-term financial projections to support strategic decision-making.
Budget Monitoring & Control
* Monitor budget implementation and expenditure performance, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and authorized financial limits.
* Develop and maintain effective budget control mechanisms to enhance financial discipline and optimize the utilization of organizational resources.
* Ensure full compliance with approved financial policies, internal controls, and applicable laws and regulations related to budgeting and financial management.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
* Analyze budget variances (actual versus planned), identify root causes of deviations, and recommend corrective actions to management.
* Prepare accurate and timely budget performance reports and financial analyses for senior
management, highlighting key trends, risks, and improvement opportunities Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
* Coordinate with finance, accounting, and operational teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency,and integration between budgets, financial records, and operational plans.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing enhancements to budgeting processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, transparency, and financial control.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting) or Business Administration.
* CMA certification preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial field and budgeting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
* Strong analytical, technical, and leadership skills.
* Effective communication skills.
