-Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
-Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
-Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
-Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial transactions.
-Monitor cash flow, expenses, receivables, and payables.
-Ensure compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
-Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and relevant governmental authorities.
-Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
-Develop and maintain effective internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial policies.
-Analyze financial results and provide management with reports and insights to support business decisions.
-Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team.
-Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
-Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with solid supervisory or managerial exposure.
-Strong knowledge of financial accounting, GL, AP, AR, taxation, and financial reporting.
-Strong understanding of Egyptian Accounting Standards and applicable tax regulations.
-Previous experience managing month-end and year-end closing.
-Strong experience dealing with external auditors and tax inspections.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
