Inbound Logistics & Customs Clearance:
· Oversee & manage all inbound shipments to Egypt, including importation of raw materials and finished goods.
· Ensure efficient customs clearance processes, working closely with agents and government bodies to minimize delays and compliance risks in a cost-effective manner.
· Coordinate with Commercial/Sales teams, suppliers and freight forwarders to manage timelines and documentation for sea, air, and land freight shipments.
Warehousing Operations:
· Lead all warehousing activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch.
· Implement and maintain proper warehouse layout, safety protocols, and stock accuracy.
· Ensure all warehousing operations are aligned with Co. procedures and Quality standards, ISO or industry standards and business requirements.
Outbound Logistics (Export):
· Liaise with Commercial/Sales teams to ensure that all outbound shipments from Egypt to Sudan and other target markets are smoothly processed according to requested shipping instructions.
· Ensure accurate and timely preparation of export documentation, regulatory compliance, and coordination with freight providers.
· Track all shipments to ensure safe and timely delivery.
· Address bottlenecks, manage risks in cross-border logistics, and ensure full visibility over the supply chain flow.
Stakeholder Management:
· Liaise with customs agents, shipping lines, freight forwarders, logistics service providers, warehouse contractors, and internal Production/Commercial/Quality teams.
· Negotiate and manage performance of 3rd party logistics partners.
Reporting & Compliance:
· Maintain accurate logistics and inventory records.
· Develop and report KPIs on logistics cost, lead time, service levels, and compliance.
· Ensure adherence to local and international trade regulations.
· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
· Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, and cross-border trade, preferably in FMCG or trading environments.
· Proven experience handling import/export operations, customs clearance in Egypt, and managing transit shipments.
· Strong knowledge of warehousing best practices and ERP/WMS systems.
· Experience working with logistics between Egypt, Sudan, and Kenya is a strong plus.

Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Assurance and Quality Control plan for the project.
Ensure that all project activities comply with applicable standards, regulations, and contractual requirements.
Conduct internal and external audits, inspections, and quality reviews across all project stages.
Prepare and submit quality-related reports and documentation to stakeholders.
Identify quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, and HSE teams to enforce quality procedures.
Monitor supplier and subcontractor quality performance and ensure alignment with project standards.
Train and guide project staff on quality control systems and best practices.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality records

· Manage production of timely, high quality MEP design deliverables for the design team for all design projects,
· Manage and perform coordination of the MEP design activities with all other disciplines (architecture, structures, QS),

For specific allocated projects, in coordination with the Lead Mechanical Engineer, manage, plan and carry out;
· Complex sitewide MEP infrastructure engineering (including chilled water, fire water, potable water, sewage, irrigation, solid waste and gas - tanks, pumps and pipelines) analysis, design and drawings, specifications and bills of quantities using appropriate analysis, design, modelling, and drafting software, to the required quality project timeline, and design budget,
· Obtain all data and follow up with project managers, Lead Mechanical Engineer, other company staff, other consultants and contractors so that analysis, design and production of drawings, specifications and bills of quantities are completed in an accurate, timely manner, to the required quality,
· Establish and build professional relationships with other staff, other Consultants, contractors.
· Understand the project brief,
· Assist Lead Mechanical Engineer, other Engineering Designers with the preparation and implementation of the Project mechanical engineering designs in coordination with the assigned project team,
· Participate in and contribute to value engineering exercises,
· Coordinate with internal disciplines and teams with 3rd parties in relation to technical, financial, safety, quality, schedule and other elements of a project, so that accurate mechanical designs and mechanical engineering drawings, specifications and bills of quantities are produced.
Specifically, the Senior Mechanical Sitewide Infrastructure Design Engineer is responsible for:
1. Implementing and updating specific and overall project mechanical engineering designs, drawings, specifications and bills of quantities for multiple complex design projects.
2. Assists the Lead Mechanical Engineer on matters that cross between interfacing elements, projects.
3. Work proactively, constructively, and fairly with all parties to ensure the successful execution of duties,
4. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as directed, and as may be appropriate.
· Minimum 10 years of related work experience in a relevant engineering background with design consultants,
· Previous experience in design drafting using Revit and AutoCAD, and,
· Extensive experience, working with design consultants, on large, complex sitewide MEP infrastructure projects is a must.
· Bachelors Degree in mechanical engineering,
· Registration with the competent Engineering Authority (licensed to practice mechanical engineering design in Egypt),
· Specific training & qualifications in mechanical engineering analysis and design including use of specific software for modelling, analysis and design of sitewide MEP infrastructure systems and networks, including pumps, tanks, and pipelines for water, sewer, and irrigation systems.
