Software Testing Engineer

Test all the aspects of the product/service and make reports regarding all the changes that are required to save the company from launching faulty products/services. vii. Testing products/services is essential procedure that affect the reputation of the company. viii. Understands the scope of projects, works with software developers, project support teams and vendors to identify business/technical requirements to writes and executes test scripts. ix. Provides mentoring, training and technical guidance to junior developers and assists in training other programming or support team members in a cooperative and effective manner Automation experience is an added plus. x. Responsible for stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing to make sure that the system is capable to accommodate load of transactions. xi. Identifies bottlenecks in existing work-flows and provides solutions for a scalable, defect-free application. xii. Runs manual and automated tests. xiii. Tests in different environments including different services platforms. xiv. Review documentation and writes bug reports, assure quality and give feedback to all project stakeholder to take corrective actions if any. xv. Addresses system defects and implements enhancements to existing functionality. xvi. Complies with Company policy and practices relating to the System Development Life Cycle. xvii. Works with Delivery team to suggest testing tools, new methodologies. Requirements Ex. Fintech company xix. Preferred certificated ISTQB “International Software Testing Qualifications Board” xx. 2-3 years of experience as Testing Engineer xxi. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and Computer Science Engineering is preferred. xxii. Passionate about technology. xxiii. Excellent communication skills. xxiv. Experience with manual testing. xxv. Experience with software development lifecycle, testing methodologies and quality control. xxvi. Experience in testing web applications and API.
