Job Description

Sourcing and Supplier Management: Identify and evaluate potential international suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability. Establish and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers to ensure continuous supply of high-quality goods and services. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with international suppliers to achieve the best value for the company. Procurement Planning and Execution: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of required goods and services. Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with company policies and procedures. Logistics and Compliance: Manage international shipping logistics, including customs clearance and documentation. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, import/export laws, and company policies. Mitigate risks associated with international procurement activities. Cost Control and Budgeting: Track and analyze procurement expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare and maintain procurement budgets and forecasts. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and manage reorder points to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory data. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings. Analyze market trends and conditions to identify potential impacts on procurement activities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in international procurement or supply chain management. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of international trade regulations and best practices in foreign procurement.
