SAN Storage & Data Protection Senior Engineer / Engineer

Handle Cisco SAN switches & EMC solutions. 2. Contact EMC vendor to resolve issues arising & troubleshooting. 3. Purse thorough storage understanding to gain awareness of storage architectures configuration & operation. 4. Test out replication & failovers between production site & DR site. 5. Work on EMC EDl (virtual disk library) & tape library to check that the daily backup jobs are already done in both disk & tape library. 6. Receive branches’ HARDWARE requests & provide them to Head of Department for reviewing. 7. Support banking & non-banking applications. 8. Attend weekly meetings to discuss assigned activities & problems experienced. 9. Operate SAN storage & backup systems & applications. 10. Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of the Permanent Supervision, Compliance and Money Laundering, Operational Risk, and Workplace Success Guidelines whenever and wherever possible. 11. Ensure the correct adoption of the policies and procedures in order to guarantee that the bank business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal Rules and Regulations, as well as, International Standards. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or Computer Engineering Experience. 3 – 5 years of experience in banking computing system, with Special training in EMC san storage & backup modules. Analytical, Innovative, Self-motivated, Cooperative & proactive Excellent Communication, Leadership, Computer skills Working Conditions: Based in the Head Office.
