Responsibilities
· Analyze IT Needs: Evaluate the IT requirements of the organization.
· Vendor Management: Research and identify potential vendors and suppliers.
· Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers.
· Quality Assurance: Ensure that procured items are delivered on time and meet the specified quality standards.
· Relationship Management: Maintain and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.
· Inventory Management: Manage inventory of IT resources and ensure they are updated as necessary.
· Collaboration: Collaborate with IT teams to ensure software and hardware needs are met.
· Record Keeping: Maintain records of purchases, contracts, and invoices.
· Market Research: Stay current with the latest IT trends and advancements to make informed purchasing decisions.
· Issue Resolution: Handle any issues or problems that arise with orders or suppliers.
· Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all procurement activities.
Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
· Experience: Proven experience in IT procurement or a similar role.
· Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
· Certifications: Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain management are a plus.
