HSE Officer

Implement and maintain the HSE Management System aligned to ISO 45001 (OHS), ISO 14001 (Environment) (and ISO 9001 / ISO 22716 (GMP for cosmetics) if applicable).-Ensure compliance with local laws, permits, and regulatory reporting (labor, fire, environment).-Lead risk assessments (JSA/TRA), HAZOP/What-If where applicable; maintain risk register and action plans.-Develop/maintain Safe Work Procedures (LOTO, confined space, hot work, machine guarding, chemical handling, working at height).-Ensure proper PPE programs, signage, and machine safety interlocks/guards are in place and audited.-Deliver HSE induction and periodic training (PPE, ergonomics, emergency response, first aid, spill control, waste segregation).-Drive safety culture via toolbox talks, near-miss campaigns, and behavior-based safety observations.-Conduct daily/weekly inspections; coordinate internal and external HSE audits; close non-conformities (CAPA).-Oversee environmental monitoring (emissions, wastewater, noise, hazardous waste, chemical storage MSDS).-Lead incident/accident investigations (root cause, 5 Why/Fishbone), report LTI/TRIR, and track corrective actions.-Maintain Emergency Response Plan; conduct drills (fire/evacuation, spills); ensure firefighting systems and first-aid supplies are inspected.-Control contractor HSE (permits to work, inductions, supervision).-Participate in MOC (Management of Change) for equipment/layout/process changes.-Keep HSE procedures, registers, SDS, training matrices up to date.-Issue weekly/monthly HSE dashboards (KPIs below) to plant and corporate leadership.Requirements-Bachelor's degree in environmental health, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related field-3-5 years of experience as HSE in a factory-Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Workplace Safety skills-Experience with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) practices and regulations-Ability to develop and conduct Safety Training programs-Knowledge of Egyptian safety and environmental laws and regulations is a plus
