HSE Officer

Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures across company sites. • Identify and assess workplace risks and propose preventive actions. • Implement HSE initiatives and projects. • Execute and evaluate company safety plans. • Ensure emergency plans and exits are in place and communicated. • Monitor risk management before work activities begin. • Prepare reports on facility compliance with safety standards. • Maintain and present statistical reports in line with company privacy policy. • Conduct audits and inspections at various work sites. • Collaborate with technical managers to align safety plans. • Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE topics. • Support the direct manager and handle assigned tasks. • Track performance indicators such as: • % of completed initiatives • Accuracy of reports • Number of corrective actions • Monthly number of trained employees Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or Environmental Protection. • 5+ years of experience in HSE within contracting or industrial sectors. • Knowledge of HSE practices in Saudi Arabia. • Preferred certifications: NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safety, OSHA30. • Basic communication and teamwork skills. • Commitment to deadlines and professional behavior. • Ability to adapt to changing work conditions. • Understanding of compliance and legal requirements. • Rational decision-making and risk analysis. • Ability to influence and support team members. • Strategic thinking within scope of responsibility.
