Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept creation to final product development, across multiple seasonal collections.
Develop innovative, performance-driven sportswear designs that align with market trends, brand identity, and customer expectations.
Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing creative direction, feedback, and development plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sourcing, marketing, and production to ensure design feasibility, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
Stay ahead of global fashion, fabric, and technology trends—particularly in activewear and performance textiles.
Oversee the creation of technical design packs, mood boards, and prototypes.
Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials.
Ensure all designs meet quality standards, performance functionality, and sustainability goals when applicable.
Represent the design function in executive meetings and contribute to long-term product strategy.
Maintain strong awareness of competitor products, pricing, and design innovations.
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
Minimum 7 years of experience in apparel/textile product design, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or head of design role.
Strong portfolio showcasing experience in designing activewear or sports fashion.
Deep knowledge of performance fabrics, garment construction, and technical design.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of product-market fit.
Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, CLO 3D, etc.) and familiarity with PLM systems.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
