Job Description
Lead and develop policies, processes, and initiatives to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs - Oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development - Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention - Ensure that the company complies with current regulations, legal standards and policies and procedures - Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding - Ensure job descriptions are up-to-date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations - Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution - Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law - Develop and implement departmental budgets - Nurture a positive working environment - Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance - Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities - Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics Requirements - Over 5 years of experience in similar field - A bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business or related area is a plus - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees - Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software - Experience in a service providing company such as in the industries of entertainment or tourism is a plus
