Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Fashion Designer to join our creative team and help shape the future of our brand. You will be instrumental in creating beautiful and functional designs that align with our brand’s ethos and vision. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, a sharp sense of style, and an understanding of design that balances both form and function. You’ll be responsible for creating innovative fashion collections, collaborating with our team to push boundaries, and keeping our designs fresh and relevant to current trends.
Responsibilities:
Design:
• Develop innovative fashion collections that embody the brand’s values of comfort, breathability, and modern style.
• Create designs for a variety of product categories (e.g., casual wear and athleisure ), including product variations for GCC and UK market.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to translate designs from concept to final product.
• Ensure that each design is both functional and fashionable, paying attention to the details of fit, fabric, and finishing.
Trend Research & Industry Integration:
• Stay updated on global fashion trends, textile innovations, and industry news.
• Incorporate seasonal trends, color palettes, and fabric choices into the designs while staying true to the brand’s DNA.
• Maintain an understanding of customer needs and preferences, ensuring that designs resonate with the target audience. Have an eagerness for research and problem solving.
Product Development & Fit:
• Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are accurately translated into garments.
• Oversee the development of patterns, prototypes, testing with the target group and samples, making necessary adjustments to achieve the desired fit and finish.
• Ensure quality control at each stage of the design process, from concept to production.
• 2-4 years of experience in fashion design or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field.
• Preferred proficiency in fashion design software (e.g., Clo3D, Adobe Illustrator, etc.).
• A strong portfolio showcasing fashion design skills and creativity.
• Ability to stay on top of current fashion trends and incorporate them into original designs.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality design work.
• Experience or interest in sustainable and functional fashion is a plus.
