External Audit Supervisor

Lead and manage external audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients within the firm, ensuring full adherence to professional auditing standards and regulatory requirements.* Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audits, ensuring all phases are delivered efficiently and in line with firm methodologies.* Review audit working papers and client financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS.* Supervise, mentor, and support junior auditors throughout the engagement, ensuring proper training, development, and workload management.* Conduct risk assessments, determine appropriate audit approaches, and ensure the application of effective audit strategies within each engagement.* Maintain strong client relationships, act as the primary point of contact during fieldwork, and address technical or operational inquiries promptly.* Collaborate with managers and partners to resolve complex accounting and audit matters, ensuring high-quality deliverables.* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the firm’s audit processes, best practices, and internal quality standards.* Ensure compliance with the firm’s policies, timelines, and documentation requirements.Requirements* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field* 7 years of total external audit experience* Mandatory IFRS certification. Additional professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are preferred.* Proven experience working with Big Four or other top-tier audit firms in the Egyptian market.* Hands-on experience auditing clients across multiple industries, with the ability to adapt audit approaches to different business environments.* Strong command of audit methodologies, risk assessment, and financial reporting standards.* Demonstrated ability to manage audit teams and coach junior staff.* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.* Strong communication and client-facing capabilities.* Ability to manage multiple engagements and deliver within tight deadlines.
