Job Description

  • Design and develop electrical systems for generator installations and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
  • Prepare electrical schematics, layouts, and single-line diagrams for power generation projects.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of generators and related electrical equipment.
  • Perform load calculations, power distribution design, and fault analysis to ensure efficient operation.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate electrical components, ensuring compatibility with project requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults, power failures, and generator-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and local electrical codes.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and contractors to ensure timely execution of projects.
  • Conduct site inspections, testing, and quality assurance for electrical systems.
  • Keep up to date with new technologies, generator advancements, and best practices in electrical engineering.


    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical design, with a focus on generator installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution, circuit design, and load calculations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, and other electrical design software.
  • Hands-on experience with generator systems, ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch), and synchronization panels.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and safety regulations (IEC, NEC, etc.).
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE, or equivalent) is a plus.
