Director of Microfinance Operations

Strategic Leadership: l Develop and implement the company's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. l Provide visionary leadership to drive growth, innovation, and profitability while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. l Identify new market opportunities, assess risks, and recommend strategic initiatives to expand the company's reach and impact. 2.Operational Management: l Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective implementation of microfinance services. l Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the company's performance and make data-driven decisions. l Foster a culture of continuous improvement, optimizing processes, and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency. 3.Financial Management: l Take ultimate responsibility for the financial performance and sustainability of the company. l Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and financial reporting systems. l Monitor loan portfolio quality, minimize delinquencies, and ensure compliance with loan policies and procedures. 4.Stakeholder Engagement: l Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, regulators, and government agencies. l Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and public events, advocating for microfinance and financial inclusion initiatives. l Collaborate with local communities and NGOs to support financial education and empowerment programs. 5.Team Leadership: l Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. l Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations. l Promote a culture of innovation, employee engagement, and continuous learning. Requirements Proven track record in strategic planning and execution, with a focus on driving growth and innovation. Extensive experience in managing day-to-day operations, preferably within the financial services or microfinance sector. Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and community organizations. Experience in recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing teams.
