BIM Modeler-Electrical

· Assist in creation, modification, and distribution of BIM models and data, · Carry out regular quality control checks on BIM models and data to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements, · Checking the clash detection and providing resolution by identifying and resolving conflicts in BIM models, · Train and supporting the project team members in the effective use of BIM software and tools, · Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology and best practices, · Assist with preparation of BIM standards, and model delivery requirements, · Coordinate technical disciplines BIM development, standard, data requirements. as required with the Design team BIM Coordinator · Prepare drawings submission format, including title block, notes and legends, drawing to scale, etc., · Work closely with assigned architecture, structure, MEP Engineers on Revit, AutoCAD, and Drawing Status reporting, · Utilize architectural/consultant files to set-up or update Revit or CAD sheets for projects, · Prepare and present Revit models, AutoCAD drawings for issue to clients, consultants, and contractors as required, and, · Timely delivery of accurate, high quality BIM models and drawings. · Data Management o Manage and organize files, ensuring proper version control and file naming conventions, o Create and maintain a comprehensive database of drawings and design files. Date 03rd July 2024 Reports to BIM Coordinator Base Office/Country ECEC Egypt · Quality Assurance o Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards, o Revise and modify drawings as required based on feedback from project team members. · Documentation o Prepare and maintain project documentation, including record drawings and as-built documentation, o Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations as needed. Requirements · Minimum 10 years of related work experience working for design consultants and previous Middle East design experience is required. · Experience in design of Mixed use Residential, Retail, Commercial & Leisure projects would also be beneficial. Previous Experience in Healthcare & Defense projects is preferred but not essential. · Minimum 5 years’ experience in using BIM/Revit on design projects. · Minimum 5 years’ experience in the same/similar type of role. · A bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or similar. · Certified professional user of Autodesk Revit or similar. · Good working knowledge of the Construction & Design industry. · Exhibit drive, attitude, and enthusiasm. · High level of computer literacy including a proficient user of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. · Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and working relations with people in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity. · Clear verbal communication skills by way of training sessions. · Be self-motivated in attaining position objectives and in seeking new responsibilities and challenges
