BIM Manager

The BIM Manager will be responsible for BIM standards & templates development, implementation & enforcement. • Manage, support and validate the BIM related project design delivery e.g. modelling, detailing, scheduling and extraction. • Develop and implement BIM Standards, procedures and best practices to meet the project’s deadlines and deliverables. • Establish and set clear directions on the modelling guidelines. Monitor the BIM modelling process to meet time, resources and profitability objectives and perform corrective actions to meet those objectives. • Provide leadership and direction to assigned project resources. • Provide hands-on BIM software training / upskilling to assigned project resources. • Develop and maintain specific BIM software template files to assure standards compliance. • Manage and support object(s) creation and maintain libraries according to the relevant Project(s) and stage(s) as needed for reuse in projects. • Develop and enforce BIM documentation and workflow process standards. • Develop and automate routines in BIM to support standards, quality and productivity. • Manage and ensure Project Information Models (PIM’s) are delivered in accordance with the agreed BEP. • Develop the process, perform, measure and ensure the highest quality for all BIM model package submissions in accordance with Project standards and requirements • Coaching each discipline on leveraging clash-detection tools on their own discipline to proactively build and design in a smart fashion. • Collaborate with the team to design and develop new software tools to optimize workflows and increase projects’ profitability. • Look to leverage dynamo and other tools to establish interoperability between disparate systems • Keeping up-to-date with advancements in building technology • Driving the implementation of digital information plans and strategies • Resolve BIM software related issues • Raising the profile of BIM within across departments and teams • Help resolve BIM related issues and trouble shoot whenever necessary • Coordinate needed hardware upgrades with IT • Test recruitment candidates in BIM skills and ensure that right candidates are hired for a given BIM position. • Support technician staff to ensure that they are provided with the information, software, hardware, training and technical support they require to ensure delivery of BIM data to project requirements. Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, or Engineering • At least 10 years’ experience in BIM Implementation • Must have experience with BIM Industry Standards • Advanced capabilities with BIM authoring and proprietary software applications such as: Revit, , Dynamo, Navisworks, , BIM 360 or similar applications. • Possess excellent English communication skills with an ability to form effective relationship with project delivery team • Excellent writing skills in preparing letters, technical instructions, analytical reports, and presentations
