BIM Architect

Create and manage 3D building models using BIM software such as Revit and AutoCAD. Ensure that models adhere to project standards and guidelines. • Perform clash detection and coordinate with various disciplines (architects, engineers and designers) to resolve design conflicts and ensure model consistency. • Review and audit models for quality, accuracy, and adherence to BIM execution plans or CAD plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. • Work closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, project manager, designers, and management, to integrate BIM and CAD into the design process. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BIM software, helping team members resolve model-related issues. • Generate documentation and reports from the BIM and CAD models, including drawings, schedules, and material take-offs. • Maintain and enforce BIM standards, including naming conventions, model organization, and data integrity. • Ensure all models are aligned with the BIM Execution Plan or CAD Execution Plan. • Manage and coordinate the integration of data into models, ensuring that information is up-to-date and accurate throughout the project lifecycle. • Facilitate the smooth handover of models and associated data to clients or facility managers at project completion. Requirements Requirements / • Associate's degree or completion of trade school or equivalent formal training • 2 to 5 years AEC working experience in interior design and/or architecture firm, is a must • Ability to encourage and train effectively and tactfully, in-person and via web conference. • Extensive knowledge of Revit 2016 or newer version • Expert with AutoCAD 2016 or newer version • Familiarity with AutoCAD/BIM (Revit) programming languages (LISP/VBA/ARX) is a must • Familiarity with SketchUp, 3Dmax, and other 3D software is a plus • Familiarity with Network technologies and platforms (Microsoft) • Experience in electronic file transfers • Experience with the MS Office suite and other business software (Microsoft 365 a plus) • Possess team building capabilities
