Job Description

 Assists the Area (ME, KSA, Africa) Central Controller in all his/her responsibilities  Supports the operational managers in the field of budget controlling and reporting activities (all financial control topics not dedicated to a single organization (BL/domains…, i.e. cross domains investments or pool of means or activities …)  Contributes as part of the Central Controlling role to monitor transverse costs, elaborates costs sharing between entities, domains and produces statutory reports and analysis  Provides as part of the Reporting role the countries, regions, DGDI and Group stakeholders with timely, reliable and relevant financial information necessary for decision making  Supports the harmonization, integration, pooling as much as possible the roles, tools and processes (including through external services providers) across the area. Budget & Operation Controlling  Ensure coordination and consistency on overall cost center structures  Support the establishment of costs budget on all cost centers.  Provide cost center managers with actuals and variance analyses  Validate adequacy of production plans, workload, workforces and structure costs.  Support the area controller defining costs allocation distribution rules (allocation of primary costs to departments) and hourly rates & other tariffs (“Kappro”, “CHP”…)  Support the area controller defining in cooperation with HR and Operation, budget assumptions (productive hours, labor costs evolution etc.)  Contribute to the performance plans definition and monitoring.  Provide relevant reporting. Reporting Monthly Closing  Ensure respect of closing calendar for the area  Accruals / Deferred Charge booking  CAPEX Control  Supervise the control of Timesheets entries  Analyze of Labor & other costs falling in structure costs BORs (Business Operations Reviews)  Define and issue BOR instructions & calendar for the area  Support to Country & Region CFO for BOR preparation  Preparation of Monthly BOR Reviews / Coordination with the countries  Consolidation of data received from Countries  Ensuring adequacy of figures in various dashboards MYB (multiyear budget)  Define and issue MYB instructions & calendar for the area  Preparation of Annual MYB Reviews  Consolidation of data received from Countries  Ensuring adequacy of figures in various dashboards Requirements  Bachelor degree in Accounting / Audit or corporate Finance (mandatory)  Master degree in Accounting / Audit or corporate Finance (preferred)  Controlling or Accounting certification (CIMA, ACCA, CPA) (preferred  5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in similar positions  Experience in audit is preferred.  Knowledge of IFRS is a plus.  Prior experience managing budgets, conducting in-depth financial analysis and submitting recommendations for consideration is preferred
