Accountant

Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system • Assist in preparing and posting journal entries • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies • Maintain accurate and up to date general ledger accounts • Prepare daily/weekly sales reports • Update Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable • Issue weekly invoices, track payments and follow up with clients • Review, process and verify vendor invoices and issue payments • Provide financial information to management by analyzing accounting and other data • Assist in preparing monthly trial balance, balance sheet, profit and loss statement • Maintain organized and up to date accounting files and records • Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. • Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting/finance. • Excellent organizing abilities. • Great attention to detail. • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen. • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices. • Hands-on experience with accounting software. • Strong skills in Excel, VBA, and/or data analytics tools is a strong plus.
