Establish, document, implement and maintain a well-defined HACCP system based
on HACCP principles and Hygiene Management.
b. Review of Quality Documents (HACCP / GLP /GMP/ SOP /CCP /CP) as per changes
in procedures, regulations etc.
c. Demonstrate and prove the Quality Assurance Procedures (HACCP and Hygiene
Controls) to customers and inspectional bodies during factory visits.
d. Ensure that the HACCP team is fully updated on all HACCP related issues.
e. Advising the internal departments on food safety compliance.
f. Monitoring and verification of all records including the CCPs / CPs on daily basis and
advice as required.
g. Conducting HACCP meeting & providing recommendations to Management for
improvements in the Food safety.
h. Planning the external training programs, master cleaning & review of HACCP
i. Ensure that food handling staff fully understands food hygiene procedures and
j. Investigate and comment on customer complaints in respect to food hygiene and
k. Ensuring the product standard and labelling requirements are adhering to local and
internal requirements while launching new products.
l. Approving the suppliers by doing the vendor audit & monitoring the receiving /
rejection policy of food / or packaging items.
m. Evaluation of all food suppliers and grading them on the basis of complaints
registered and major audit findings.
n. Preparing the detailed claim report on products deviating from agreed specifications.
o. Supervision and instruction of Product fumigation activities.
p. Review and update hygiene procedures and policies as per national and
q. Conducting internal Food Hygiene audit & recommending the required corrective /
preventive action. Control on Documentation and Good Record Keeping Practices.
r. Managing all QC’s activities & Ensuring Good Hygienic Status of the Facilities.
