Sales and Business Development:
- Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and evaluate customer needs.
- Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media platforms.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
- Address client inquiries, handle complaints, and resolve objections professionally.
Negotiation and Closing:
- Prepare and deliver customized sales presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., operations, customer service) to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Prepare regular sales reports to track performance and provide insights to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- 1–2 years of proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry.
- Demonstrable experience in B2B sales, client acquisition, or business development is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of logistics and freight forwarding processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
- Persuasive negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
