Microfinance Officer

Source new micro borrowers through field visits, community partners, referrals, and local events. - Conduct KYC and basic financial assessment (income, cashflow, guarantors, collateral where applicable). - Present products, explain pricing/fees/repayment schedules, collect documentation, and submit complete files. - Build accurate files (applications, IDs, income proofs, site visit reports, photos, guarantor docs). - Coordinate with credit/operations for approvals, disbursement, and account opening. - Monitor repayments, conduct reminders/visits, and implement early-warning actions to minimize PAR. - Handle inquiries, complaints, renewals, top-ups, and cross-sell suitable products (savings, cards, insurance). - Adhere to policies (KYC/AML/CBR), maintain MIS/CRM updates, and submit daily/weekly activity reports. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree (business, commerce, economics, or related preferred). - 0–5 years in sales/field collections/retail banking/ Microfinance - Strong field sales, negotiation, and relationship-building - Microfinance or community development experience
