HSE&Safety Inspector

Conduct Inspections: Perform regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and operations to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies. Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions. Compliance and Enforcement: Ensure that the organization adheres to all relevant HSE laws, regulations, and standards. Enforce compliance through monitoring and reporting non-compliance incidents. Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence. Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations. Training and Education: Conduct HSE training sessions for employees to raise awareness and promote best practices. Develop and update training materials as necessary. Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for identified hazards. Maintain records of risk assessments and monitor their implementation. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training activities. Prepare and submit regular reports to the HSE Manager and other stakeholders. Emergency Response: Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans. Participate in emergency drills and provide feedback for improvement. Requirements Diploma’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., construction Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001) are highly desirable. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards. Excellent observational and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software.
