Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and diagnostic tests to identify emotional, cognitive, and behavioral disorders.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions for children and adolescents facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and trauma.
Offer parental guidance and counseling to support family dynamics and improve child development.
Collaborate with teachers, social workers, and healthcare providers to create a supportive environment for children.
Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Stay updated with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in child psychology.
Conduct workshops and awareness sessions on child mental health and well-being.
Requirements
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of post-master’s experience in child psychology, preferably in a clinical or educational setting.
Strong knowledge of psychological testing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and other relevant interventions.
Experience in working with children with special needs, emotional disturbances, or learning disabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with children and their families.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
