Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key channel partners. Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to each key account. Identify opportunities for growth and work closely with channel partners to achieve mutual business objectives. Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by maximizing sales opportunities within assigned accounts. Monitor sales performance, set targets, and work collaboratively with channel partners to achieve them. Negotiation and Contracts: Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms of trade with key accounts. Ensure agreements are mutually beneficial and support long-term business growth. Product Positioning and Merchandising: Work with merchandising teams to ensure optimal product placement and visibility within stores. Develop strategies to improve shelf space, promotional displays, and in-store execution. Promotional Planning: Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute promotional activities that drive sales within key accounts. Analyze the effectiveness of promotions and adjust strategies as needed. Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities within assigned channels. Provide insights and recommendations to the sales and marketing teams to maintain a competitive edge. Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure timely product delivery and optimal stock levels within key accounts. Address any supply issues that may impact sales or customer satisfaction. Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market conditions. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and guide future strategies. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns promptly. Maintain open communication channels and foster a collaborative partnership with key accounts. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or channel management within the FMCG industry. Strong understanding of FMCG distribution channels, retail operations, and key account management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans. Analytical skills to assess market conditions, sales performance, and opportunities for growth. Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
